Navy and Marine Corps Reserve Training Center Addition, Vehicle Maintenance Facility, and Gun Shed, Lehigh Valley, Allentown, PA

This project was for the design and construction of the Navy and Marine Corps Reserve Training Center addition, Vehicle Maintenance Facility and gun shed.  The training facility included a supply warehouse, gear locker room, Comm shop, classroom and conference space, administrative space, women's and men's bathrooms with male locker area and shower stalls.  A SIPR room, Comm room, and mechanical and electrical rooms were also required in the Training Center addition.  The 4,402 square foot Vehicle Maintenance Facility was also constructed at the site which included high bay compartments, a single story steel framed structure with a concrete foundation, CMU walls, and a sloped metal roof.  This facility also included a vehicle lube system.  The site work for this project included an aggregate covered parking lot for military vehicles, and asphalt paving for Private Owned Vehicles (POV) parking.

Susquehanna Valley Engineering Group, Inc. was hired by Contracting Systems, Inc. II to perform the construction phase commissioning services and LEED administrative services.
